I always reserve my judgement until I see the vehicle in the flesh. I have been pleasantly surprised by a number of cars and motorbikes after seeing them in the showroom compared to websites and magazine pics.

I don't think Nissan want to 'water down' the offroad credentials of the Patrol as has happened with other manufacturers.

Fingers crossed the new truck looks the goods otherwise my next car will be a Navara dual cab instead of a Patrol...
