Re: Wreckers **Parts Wish List**
Matt,
Just pray that when you bang on the fenders they turn out to be plastic like all xtrails are worldwide, because there is no way I can find "metal" front fenders for your exy
As to the little blind spot mirror and if it falls off for any reason, just wrap it carefully and post it to me. hehehehe
Would actually appreciate some info. about how this little mirror is attached to the fender and if you have any close-up pics that will be great too. I've been looking for this mirror for ages now.

Re: Wreckers **Parts Wish List**
Hi Matt,
I have a price for you mate on a brand new L/H/Front fender/guard "brand new" from the wreckers for $275.00 (not painted). This is the plastic front fender and does not include the under-fender mudguards (the black plastic bits)
They don't have any second hand ones at all and this is the last one left.

Hey jalal,
if you come across a pair of side steps then save them for me.

Re: Wreckers **Parts Wish List**
No worries Matt, however I don't fancy your chances, as this wrecker gets his xtrails from goverment auctions, which means they come standard with no accessories attached to them at all (except maybe the cargo barrier in some cases)
Will keep an eye on them for you all the same.

Re: Wreckers **Parts Wish List**
I am after the mounts for a genuine Nissan Towbar. I have the actual towbar / draw bar, and the bolts, but not the actual mounts on/in the chassis.
Not sure what they will be worth - but hopefully not too much.
I scored the towbar from a friend sending his xtrail off to auction, but he didn't get a chance to take out the mounting hardware
Thanks

Re: Wreckers **Parts Wish List**
Hi Bob and welcome to the forum.
There are no specific xtrail chassis mount for the towbar per say, you need to take the towbar to any 4wd shop and they will do the fitting for you for around $80, what goes in the chassis are flat washers for the bolts to grab and screw into. That is the only thing you're missing to complete the install.
You can buy these washers from any hardware store. They're a square type. Just take the bolts with you so they can match them-up.
HERE is a thread about the mounting points and bolts for the genuine nissan towbar.
Your mate would have needed to take-off his rear bumper in full to give you these washers (big job)

In case anyone knows of a Ti that didn't quite make it - I'm after a towbar, alloy wheels and tweeters. (I guess I'm looking for a Ti that's been low-speed rolled or similar :-) Location: anywhere in SE Sydney down to the Illawarra would be good (I live in Wollongong, but travel to Kensington every day :-(
