Rear wiper spindle

Hi everyone,
As anyone an old rear wiper motor that does not work or rather the spindly thingy that you attach your wiper arm to.I need the spindle and attached bit with an hole in it.Tried Nissan dealer and you can only buy the whole wiper asembly, quoted $600!!!
Willing to pay postage etc.
Tried to put photo on here but struggle with technology.

If it is not possible to obtain just that part, then there may be room to manufacture something.

what model do you have?

If it's the same part as mine, i'll drop mine out and see if it's possible for me to manufacture something to replace it.
