Members Identification Number

Dear Members,

In preparation for the "greet & meet your exy mate on the road" theme which we have recently discussed, we have put in place a complete list of all current registered members of the forum and gave each one an identification number which will be their own personal number that would identify who they're when spotted by someone on the road.

This list will be updated each time we get a new member.

The list can be downloaded from HERE and it has been uploaded onto the Members Page on the Main Site.

I am X012 emoticon emoticon

Re: Members Identification Number

Dear Members,

To compliment the Members ID initiative which saw us all get excited about, the Australian X-Trail Forum with the help of Lance (Lancie49) who is a professional signs, decals and banners maker, are now in a position to offer members of the forum a choice to have the Member ID stickers professionally made for a symbolic charge.

The stickers are made from weather-resistant vinyl and come in 2 different sizes and styles.

For the Front Windscreen
============================

Small 150mm x 50mm
Large 190mm x 70mm

See samples of them attached to an exy

For the Rear Tailgate
=========================

Same sizes available but with an option to have a reflective sticker at the back (it is illegal to have reflective stickers on the front windscreen)

The Australian X-Trail Forum URL Link

You now also have the option to order the plain white URL link sticker which will printed in the Nissan Font

Size 370mm x 40mm

PRICING:
===========

* A set of 2 white member ID stickers (in any of the two available size combinations) is priced at $8.50/pair (posted within Australia)

* A set of one white and one reflective sticker combination is priced at $9.50/pair (posted within Australia)

* The URL link sticker would cost an additional $8.50 if posted in the same order as the Member ID stickers and $12.50 (incl. postage within Australia) if ordered on its own.

All Orders are to be placed by emailing the On Line X-Trail Shop at:

mailto: sales@australianxtrail.com.au

The turn around time is approx. 2 days from the day your payment clears in the account.

I trust that this service option would make this exercise more fun for all members of the forum and I would like to thank Lance for helping us out.

P.S. Please include your full name, address and the quantity you'd like ordered when sending an email.

Re: Members Identification Number

Hey Lance,

I'm thinking of having my member number behind the rearview mirror as shown on Jalal's third pic above.

Any chance you could offer a black strip to place under the numbering to act as a sun-shield for the gap above the rearview mirror ?

Re: Members Identification Number

Kev,

Why don't you use a small piece of window tint and stick it in place from inside the windscreen above the rear view mirror and then just apply the member ID to the outside as per normal?

Window tint does not block the sun out like the sunvisor does and I would need to get a whole roll for only that small piece emoticon

Re: Members Identification Number

Kev,

A quick visit to ANY tinting place with a nice smile on your face asking for the small piece of the darkest film would solve your problem and involve a less complicated solution than buying a whole roll of film emoticon

The 20% windown tint I have would be VERY dark on the widnscreen and there are darker films used for the back of the vans, a piece of which will do wonders.
