A timely Reminder

Just thought a timely reminder for everyone to get ready and lock up all tools and expensive equipment.

We had a fantastic week-end away but someone decided to help themselves to our back yard and stole our Karcher worth around $650 and then decided to help themselves to our shed!

With two Rotties in the back yard we are still scratching our heads as to how the heck they got access!

So just thought would like to remind everyone to lock up with the silly season coming upon us soon .

Nothing is sacred in this world!

Regards Scot

It could have been someone the Rotties knew already!

Yes thought of that but the rotties have no contact with anybody at all.

We are also surrounded by yap yap dogs on all sides emoticon

So virtually it is like a mine field to get thru.

It pays to have good neighbours, whilst Herra across the road is a bit of a busy body she called the Police the day I bought the Navara home as there was a strange car in my driveway.

I've only had one break in and that was when we had no dog, mind you when the alarm went off the kid jumped over the back fence into Rotty land and wondered why he got bitten!

Re: A timely Reminder

I've heard that good thieves (are there any good ones?) know their target well. They would've known you had dogs, and brought them something to keep them occupied (such as a big juicy bone or some meat) while they took their loot.

Yes, the school holidays are quickly approaching, and I think I'd best be clearing out the garage of all the crap that's been in there for the last 6 months due to renovations, so I can keep the X-Trail safely hidden away from prying eyes...

Sorry to hear of your loss, Scot. I hope you had insurance (although unfortunately many insurance company policies (at least in NSW) have very limited cover for sheds and garages)...

This is why my father always taught his dogs never to touch any food unless told by him "good dog, eat". Saves the dog from getting baited too.

It was sitting under a covered patio near the back door(which is a glass sliding door) right in view of us inside.

Thank you ,it was cheaper to go out and re buy another one rather paying the excess.
