i know ive got a series 2 but has anyone ever removed the needles on the dials? i couldnt see it in any threads i looked at. i want to change the colour of the LED's behind the dials soon but dont wana stuff the dials. also how many 3way LED's are lighting the dials?

What you have in mind is described in THIS thread and you can ask this question there. Far from being easy on a Series II and they're not your conventional LEDs that are lighting-up the dash. They're crystals.
