wind spoiler

Hi there all

Does anybody have a readable set of instructions on how to fit a factory wind spoiler to a T30? I bought a wind spoiler privately which came with 4 pages of 'photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy....' instructions that are largely unreadable. What i can make out is that the rear roof lining has to be removed to correctly release the roof rail end caps and that the roof rail itself has to be cut quite specifically to fit the spoiler correctly. As soon as i saw the roof rail has to be cut i became reluctant to just experiment myself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nick

Re: wind spoiler

Nick,

I've been there and done that mate, there is no way you can fit the factory spoiler yourself as it is a very complicated job which requires professional installation of a body repair shop.

They will charge you for half a day labour (around $300) and that is exactly how long its gonna take them to fit it....the end result means that buying an aftermarket spoiler works out MUCH MUCH cheaper and can be done at home in 15 minutes.

Sorry mate, but I would either return this spoiler or sell it if I was you, as it's a major headache.
