Jalal,

Is there anyway you are able to make the redirect page redirect to the page you replied to rather than going to page 1 of every topic??

Re: Redirect after post made

Nope, there is nothing like that currently available in Runboard and it has been requested as a feature by many other boards. It was on their to do list for the last couple of years with little progress made.

We can only hope it'll find its way to Runboard one day.

Re: Redirect after post made

It certainly wouldn't be difficult to implement. One was would be to create a tiny file (one for each thread) which stores the number of pages in a thread. Then append that number in the file to the URL which displays the thread (where it has "|offset=40" (for displaying page 5, for example) after the topic number). By already having the "offset" feature, as it does, then it wouldn't be too difficult to incorporate it into redirecting URL after a reply has been added...

Rich, had you followed the amount of discussion this has generated on the support forum at Runboard, you wouldn't have said that LOL emoticon

Apparently it is an existing feature that is not working correctly due to a bug that has been with us for the past 4 years emoticon

They're still trying to resolve this.

Moved from another thread - Posted by Dave

Didnt know where to stick this sorry Jalal....
I noticed that the "redirection after post" issue has been fixed. Whack up a post, and go back to the topic....not "thanks for your.... etc"
If you got it fixed
If Runboard did it......finally

Edit hope its not a one off! worked in "Technical Problems and Solutions" 15 minutes ago....soon as I submitted this it was "Thanks for your....."
