Hi Julie,
Most of the smileys are self explanatory anyway. They're just emotions one would insert in their post to get the message across a bit more clearer.
Example: I wouldn't know for sure if a particular statement was made on the forum jokingly or seriously unless I see a smiley accompany that type of statement. Just a rough example.
I wouldn't want to add too many of these into our board as it could get a bit out of hand where they'll be used all over the place and we will end-up like these Taiwanese forums with no content but smileys all over the place

I know *why* they are there, it's just that some are ambiguous, when I've identified some on other forums they mean something different than I previously thought. Still I have no problem living without them.
But I wouldn't mind being able to *wave* to new members.
