Picked up my 'demo' T31 !!

hi,

well i have finally picked up the T31 Xtrail ST CVT Auto. What a great car. only had it for about a day or so. had a bit of a decent drive in it today through the Adelaide hills while it was absolutely pooring with rain and it was great.

Im actually suprised how much grunt it has, it doesnt feel like you are going very fast, but when you look down at the speedo you are over the limit, so i have to get used to that.

I love the draw system in the back as well, that is just a brilliant idea i reckon.

i got a nudge bar and spotties added as well.

i will stick some pics up when i can upload them.

1 Happy T31 Owner,
Smac79

Congratulations on the new arrival! Time to update your signature now...... emoticon . I do like the drawer system took however that must increase the boot floor height quite a bit - i'd never get the dogs to jump in by themselves.

I like the drawers and the nudge bar certainly looks more aggressive than the T30 factory version.

I agree about the nudge bar, i saw one in traffic the other day and it looked great. I actually had to do a double take because i thought it was a T30!

G'day Smac79,
Congrats on the purchase of the T31 - hope you are enjoying your new wheels as much as I do.
A question - yours is the same as mine ST T31 - mine only came with one drawer on the driver's side. Yours has 2 - did you buy it as an extra, have I missed out, or is it because it was a Demo model dressed up?
(Anyway, it would be interesting to know what the price of the extra drawer would be?)

I cant beleive how quit they are, at idle you cant even hear them.

RonV: the draws dont really add too much height, as the floor is pretty low and the draws arent all that big. ill try and get a better photo.

Taztrail: the extra draw was about 300 or something.

The nudgy does look good, i like the way nissan do their nudge bars, they come from that black part, not from underneath the car.

Re: Picked up my 'demo' T31 !!

I've done about 17k in mine now. Only prob is a Rattle that happens when it is cold - sounds like exhaust is loose, will need to book it in to get looked at.

Trip comp says im getting about 10.6litres/100. I havent manually worked it out myself, but i would say im using less than that.

still enjoying driving it. Love the room inside.

Re: Picked up my 'demo' T31 !!

I had the L/H draw thrown in when I bought my ST.
It doesn't open the same as the other one though.emoticon
The R/H draw has a little handle which you pull up, like an old car door handle.
The L/H draw has to be lifted up in order to pull the draw out.
Not the best way but I'll have to get used to it I suppose.

Tony
