Your a very clever man Dronus, I still haven't worked out how to drive from the back seat. My legs are too short haha emoticon

I reread that this morning and was hoping noone would pick that up, or the fact that "the wet" meant its raining outside, not that whatever was in the backseat was wet..

Trust cooch31 to pick it up emoticon emoticon

Re: T31 Mud coming thru rear door

Hi Scot,

I think I found your leak source for the mud.

That's right. The lower section of the T31 tailgate is a clip-on part. I had no idea that it's actually designed like that and can be taken-off. Chances are the mud got through between the top edge of it which is in contact with the tailgate.

If I were you, I would ask the dealer to remove this section and check behind it. You would probably find baked mud in there by now emoticon

Thanks Jalal,

I will take a photo where I know the fault lies.

It would be much easier.

Most of the T31 un clips like that.

Regards Scot

Jalal
As you can see from the pic, the metal tailgate does go right down to the bottom. Well past the tailgate rubber.

The part you show just clips on to the face of the tailgate.

Back to the drawing board Scot.

Thank God for that Tony, I thought this plastic part covers the short part of the tailgate LOL emoticon

When I saw this part, I thought Nissan designed a quick access to the drawers without unlocking the car or opening the tailgate. emoticon

Re: T31 Mud coming thru rear door

No Jalal,

Tony is correct ,if you look where the draw is there is a rubber from memory that runs there along the back just above the rear bumper this is where the mud came from.

This pic shows the mud we were playing in and this mud was very thin and soupy

Had fun this day emoticon
