GasTek LPG injection (for Diesel Engines) This Australian product was featured on New Inventors last night (Wed) - have a look at their website for the LPG injection system and the reported gains being made for fuel consumption, power and cleaner engine oil.
I have sent off an email enquiring about costs etc - apparently the LPG tank is not the huge conversion type but a much smaller and easier located unit.
Sounds very promising particularly if you are going to keep your vehicle a long time.

Re: GasTek LPG injection (for Diesel Engines) I wouldn't install LPG on the diesel engine.
LPG ignites first in the combustion process and replaces diesel fuel, so if you have the DPF box it could shorten its life. When DPF regenerates extra fuel is injected, so if it would be regenerating more frequently your fuel economy will be worst. Also your exhaust gas temperature will be higher with LPG, which is not good for the turbo.
I would definitaly wait until more vehicles equiped with the DPF had LPG fitted and run for some time without the problems.
