T31 diesel instrument cluster faulty tacho
Howdy all.
My car has been running really well on the BP ultimate so far.
On the way home this arvo I noticed that my tacho was sitting on 3000rpm while I was idling at the lights. I opened the windows to make sure that it wasn't really doing that much... It sounded quiet and normal. Driving the car is fine and the speedo appears accurate.
When I parked I noticed that the tacho rests on about 2500rpm ( engine off).
Rang Nissan - booked it in for Monday for a possible instrument cluster replacement under warrenty.
Just a heads up incase anyone else gets this. Car has done 25,400km approx.

haven't noticed anything wrong with my cluster and i have done just over 30k.
Hope you didn't end up with a lemon.

I just went out and checked it. The dial has gone back to normal. Took it for a spin and all seems good. Might have just been sticky but I'll drop it in on Monday anyway.

Hi Guys, the T31 digi display can show km/h. Ours is stuck at 32km/h.
Any suggestions? No I am not driving at 32km/h

I thought it was just a feature of the trip computer, letting you know that your average speed is 32km/h.
Try resetting it and see if you get a different reading.

Hi Dronus, the info button on the steering wheel tabs through different modes. FYI I have PM'd you.

Yeah i thought it just showed you the average speed. It would be pretty cool if it could show you the actual speed in real time, i think the kluger does that if i remember correctly.
