Another one

I've had a series II auto Ti Xtrail 2007 since new and it's got about 65k on the clock. The off road driving I do is almost all in sand along the coast of WA. I used to have a diesel Jackaroo and though it had it's good points the Xtrail is mostly a better performer in the sand, particularly if she's not loaded up too much. I'm sure the auto helps quite a bit in the sand. Clearance from that big ugly muffler sometimes lets the Xtrail down so I am keen to get a bit more height and would love to get rid of that muffler.

My Xtrail is so far all standard but as warranty is drawing closer I hope I'll be able to change a few things.

Cheers

Hi Kim; emoticon to the Forum.
You will find heaps of great info in here, to hero you with any queries you may have.
A few of our members have already got rid of the 44 gallon muffler, & fitted twins, or different exhaust systems all together.
You will find fotos of them in the exhaust section of the forum.
We have members over your way, so you might be ablt to catch up with them one day, for an outing.

If you haven't already done so; could you please click the flashing button, up the top of the page, which says Vote for our forum.;
After you do this, could you drop into the announcements section, (vote for our site) & let everyone know how we are going in the position race.
If everyone votes for the forum each day, we can climb up the listing, & show everyone that the X-Trail does rock the world..
Thanx for that.

Re: Another one

Cheers Guys, thanks for the warm welcome.

It's a great forum and I really enjoy being able to get all the technical info and learn from the experience of all the members.

They're a great little car. Have surprised my mates a few times by how easy I've gone compared to their proper 4WD's, and there's a certain pleasure in ambling past the odd cruiser bogged on the beach.

Re: Another one

Certainly makes them look, when they see the mighty little truck going past, while their super jacked up monster, is just digging holes in the sand, & going nowhere, cept down. emoticon

Re: Another one

Better than ambling past the cruisers, I've turned a few heads by pulling them out with my x-trail.

Gets a second look alright!!!
