3rd X-trail, New to site
Hi all.
I'm Bryce from Roma in QLD Australia.
I am the proud owner of a new
2009 X-trail ST.
6 Spd Man.
This is my third x-trail, as I believe they are a magnificent vehicle.
Great on the open road, I've pulled several Landruisers out of the sand on the beach!!, and are very comfortable.
My first was traded in with over 700,000 Km on the clock with nothing more that regular dealer services, but my second was not so lucky. Was totally destroyed in a highway collision, and I attribute the many, many safety features to why i actually opened the door and walked away, even though I was actually sitting on top of the engine!!
This new x-trail is my replacement and I'm haveing a few issues with the dash display, even though my dealer insists that there is nothing wrong.
Hoping to get help from the many people out there, and also maybe help others with my several happy years of x-trail ownership
Bryce

Re: 3rd X-trail, New to site
Hi Bryce; to the Forum.
If you yse the search feature of the forum, you sgould be able to find the answer to your problem.
If you are thinking of goody's for your new toy, have a look at the online shop, there is lots there to choose from.
Scot & Wendy, (freewill11) have heaps of them on their T31.
If you can make it to the outing in Nov. you will be able to talk to them, & see what they have done to their Exy.
If you haven't already done so; could you please click the flashing button, up the top of the page, which says Vote for our forum.;
After you do this, could you drop into the announcements section, (vote for our site) & let everyone know how we are going in the position race.
If everyone votes for the forum each day, we can climb up the listing, & show everyone that the X-Trail does rock the world..
Thanx for that.

Re: 3rd X-trail, New to site
Hi Bryce If you can't make November, I have plans to go to Armidale for Christmas and will be returning some time early new year. At this stage I'm planning to return via the Great Inland Way, passing thru Roma. We might be able to meet for a cuppa. Will know closer to the time.
Did you really mean to key in 700,000km? That's certainly a lot of kms. Though I can see when you live in the country where you do it wouldn't be hard to pile up the kms, esp on those long straights with the higher speed limits.

Re: 3rd X-trail, New to site
Please drop me a line when you pass through roma. Would love to meet fellow x-trail enthusiasts. And yes, 700,000 Km on the clock. I decided that was time to retire the car. With work i used to do over 100,000 a year.
