Re: What colour is your car (poll)
Hi Rybky
Platinum may not be on the website, but it's on the fold-out back page of the X-Trail promotional booklet, and none of the "colours" look anything like reality.
In real life, the Platinum is a real clear silver colour, just like platinum or white gold.
The Titanium seems to have a tinge of very pale brown in it, and the Twilight seems to have a pinkish tinge to it.
I think the Platinum is more silver than the Titanium Silver.

Re: What colour is your car (poll)
Hi Guys,
You have raised a good point about the colour differences between Series I and II.
I have the series I brochure which I got when I bought my series I exy back in 2003 and it lists the following colours and their corresponding codes (Looking at them, they're a perfect match to what they look like in real life):
Black Obsidian (KH3) this is what I have.
Burgundy (AX5)
Deep Blue Pearl (BW6)
Polar White (QM1)
Titanium Silver (KX4)
Twilight (EV0)
Tralx: Can you please list the coloures and codes for the Series II as you have them in your brochure? We can then establish the differences in the colours and the colour codes.

Re: What colour is your car (poll)
Thanks trailx,
This now confirms that the following colours are new in Series II:
White Diamond (QX1)
Platinum (KY0)*
In addition to that Series I did not have the option of having metallic paint.
Has anyone taken-up the metallic paint option?
The poll is missing Polar White. All other colours are there.
P.S. Yep, the white in series I is very different than the diamnon white in series II.

On looking at the booklet again tonight I've just realised there isn't a single female face in all 22 pages of it plus 6 page accessories liftout!!!!!
They have rectified this in the new Murano and '05 Pathfinder booklets The new Pathy booklet is showing a female driver taking her kids on a trip
I guess the target market was set differently for the xtrail, although I agree that I also see many female xtrail drivers and they all look...happy

Re: What colour is your car (poll)
Yep, very little black vehicles up here. In fact I'm sure there are only 3 Black X-Trails in Cairns,
That's one the reasons we choose the grandma gold (twilight), the other reason is it's one of the best colours for hiding the dirt.
As for the heat in the far north it's quite bad at present. 8:45pm at night, 39.5 degrees, 100% humidity,
