Free Advertising for the forum by accident!
Hey All, Had a funny experience last week thought I would share it with you for a chuckle.
I got a last minute call to help run a conference last week looking after tech support and the speakers etc etc but the night before I was told there was no pc provided so I had to clean up my laptop and get it ready to go.
It was a pretty serious conference on cyber bullying in schools (was an eye opener) and there were a variety of speakers. Anyway during the most full on part of the conference the speakers went overtime and my laptop drifted off onto the x-trail forum screen saver! I almost fell over. The screen was about 3mx2m! There were about 120 people there and the speakers were oblivious to the fact all the exy's are flashing up on the screen behind them. I got a lot of looks and laughs and as it was in a period were I couldn’t interrupt the speakers doing their presentation it went on and on for about 45mins.
That particular part of the conference was on subliminal messages which is even more of a coincidence!
I wonder if will get any new members from it! haha

It's your turn to do the same in Canada. Grab the screen saver and ask for a meeting with Nissan Canada LOL  After getting them to watch the xtrails for 45 minutes or more, am sure they'll get the message and bring back the exy

Hmmmm.. sounds like a plan.... let's see how to get the dumb witted Nissan executives to partake in a 45 minutes presentation..... I got it... send them a lightblub with the x-trail logo on it and tell them to turn on the light...

They wouldn't do that.
Firstly they would have to contact Nissan head office and ask them if they could do it.
Then they would get a mechanic in to run the scan gauge on it and if no errors are found will send it back to you.

They are the head office Tony, but even then, they would send it to Nissan Japan for "further investigation"

Well I went to a customer feedback the other week and there was about 30 xey owners there, giving input.... but before I was at this feedback session... I emailed them.... and this is their response....
We of course understand your sentiments regarding our product line-up
change that resulted in the X-TRAIL no longer being sold within Canada.
The X-TRAIL represented to many consumers exactly what you described,
the perfect mix of performance and gas consumption in a small SUV.
Modifications are continually being made both in the engineering of our
vehicles and our product line-up in order to most effectively meet
market demands and exceed consumer expectations. Please be assured that
changes are made specifically because of feedback like yours as well as
various other forms of research. While the X-TRAIL is currently not a
part of our line-up and there are no plans to reintroduce it at this
time, rest assured that should the Canadian market share your opinion on
this product, we as a corporation will of course respond to that demand.
