inox battery conditioner
G'Day All,
Has anybody used a product called Inox mx-2 battery conditioner? Apparently it helps stop or remove sulphate build up on the inards of car batteries thereby extending the charge holding capabilities of the battery.
Have just added some to my golf buggy battery which is not giving very good performance at the moment. If it is as good as it says then I will consider adding to the Exy's battery as well.

Well, the golf buggy battery has responded quite well after adding the inox - not back to full capacity but around 15% better after the first charge (not sure if it will get better on subsequent charges.)
Interestingly Inox will extend the warranty on a brand new battery if it is applied before use.

I havent put it in a new battery, but have recently tried to revive batteries that were on their way out with mixed results.
Motorbike battery. Would be ok during the week (ridden every day), but wouldn't hold charge over the weekend. Added Inox. Dead as a door nail the next day. Put it on a long charge, and its been fine since (2 weeks now).
Second case was my 4x4 battery. I got a replacement, but wanted to revive the old one for camping power. Unfortunetly no amount of recharging can recover it.
As it says on the box, probably much better to apply early rather than late as in my cases.
Saying that, I havent put it the current 4x4 battery. The jury is out still.
