Re: Revhead's Mota

It's not done yet Chris. This stuff will take some time to organise, fit and tune all in a predefined sequence.

I expect it will all be finished by the end of the year so look out for me on a forum trip after that.
But photos and impressions will be forthcoming as progress is made.

Re: Revhead's Mota

G'day Kev

I understand the benefits of the rear parking sensors, but not sure why (someone of your experience & skill) the need for the front sensors. Is your eyesight failing you in your old age, mate? emoticon

And please pardon my ignorance, but what is the CAI and how does it work? I've been reading about Dave's CAI mod, but it hasn't made sense to me emoticon .

Will be great to catch up with you later this month - maybe you can give a demo and explain all your mods.

 emoticon Stephen

Re: Revhead's Mota

The main use of the front sensors is to aid in "nudging up" to a barrier when parking instead of having to judge over the bonnet (I am short and do not get so much of an angle).
They also halp alert you to a front corner coming close to something when reversing and your attention is focussed out the back.
Just peace of mind really. saw it on the new commodores and it looked cool.

A CAI is a Cold Air Intake and it allows the engine to breathe more freely and with the full exhaust mods and extractors the engine will rev better.

Be glad to go through everything with anyone on the trip on 28th Dec when I'm in Brissy.

Re: Revhead's Mota

Like I said yesterday Kev, you have a very sweet ride. emoticon

And your exy sounds great too! emoticon

I'd like to get mine sounding that smooth, but it will have to wait until (much) later in the year.
