The McDerminator

Ok, well I have been a member for a while now and have done a few bits and bobs to the exy so I reckon its about time I put up a spot here in Members Rides.

To start I thought I would put in a pick of the exy when I got here, and from there I will work on pics for the mods

This first pic was taken on the day after we got her (we got off road as soon as we could), straight out of the box ST-S Xtreme.

Image

I will add more over the next fews days but I have spent all day working on the exy, and pretty much all night so I ain't taking more photos now

Admin Edit: Number plates removed for privacy reasons. Please remember to edit the number plates from all future pics you post on the forum.

E-bay for $100.

Re: The McDerminator

Fitted seat covers were the next addition to the car

Image

Soon followed by "Midnight Express" tint

Image

And the forum sticker of course

Image

Since then the mods have been more functional that cosmetic.

I did the Radiator Protection

Image

Followed by the Strut Brace and the K&N filter

Image

Nudge (a steal at $100 from e-bay) and just before that I replaced my number plates after losing them in Newnes Forrest

Image

30mm lift with King Springs

Image

BF Goodrich All Terrain 225/70 R16

Image

So, at the moment the list of mods and extras is as follows:

From Nissan
1. Nissan Mats
2. Nissan Bonnet Protector
3. Nissan Rear Sun Visor
4. Nissan Rear Bumper Protector
5. Nissan Factory Nudge
6. Nissan A/C filter
7. Nissan Chrome TI Grille
8. Nissan Roof Racks

Plus
9. Bendix 4WD Pads
10. Radiator Protection
11. K&N Air Filter
12. Front Strut Brace
13. Tweeters
14. Tailored Seat Covers
15. Midnight Express Tint from Solace
16. Black Euro plates
17. High tensile recovery bolts
18. 300mm lift with King Springs
19. BF Goodrich All Terrain Tyres - 225/70 R16

What's next?
Hmmm not sure, maybe driving lights...would love leather...nope deffinitely gonna have to be an LPG conversion

New springs went in on Thursday, and am getting BF Goodrich A/T KO 225/70 R16s next week.

I have put some info in the springs in the Suspension Lift Thread and have added pics above.

Re: The McDerminator

thanks guys,

I was supposed to be getting the springs and tyres both fitted yesterday but long story i will go into that after I get them in, hopefully next week.

I reckon the lift is incomplete without the tyres, can't wait

Re: The McDerminator

BF Goodrich All Terrains fitted today by Tempe Tyres,

The size is 225/70 R16 and they were $220 each, fitted and balance.

I had to wait over a week for them to come in apparently they were straight off the boat, which could be true, as the date on the tyres is 1108, or the eleventh week in 2008. So April 08.

Don't worry Brett, they are made in the USA
