The only way anything gets done in my place is when 3 or more women are over talking and I hide out the back . emoticon

Hence, I got the calipers painted (front) and the catch can reinstalled yesterday.
Be the back calipers today I reckon emoticon

The blue is a pretty close match to the BW6 Deep Pearl, and the gloss seems to set it off pretty well.
Edit Tried to add a better pic of calipers.
Edit #2 Did the rears today, not quite the same effect because of the size and position, but they all look good. Good opportunity to drain, replace and bleed the brakes as well.

The Septone Caliper paint comes in all different colours and can be bought from Repco or SuperCheap Auto. It's heat resistant and meant specifically for the calipers.

Gday Kev,
yeah I just went with the Septone Blue and Clear Gloss from Autobarn...I got the guy to spray a few of the blue choices on some cardboard and took it out to the car to get as close as possible. I nearly stuffed up and got engine enamel cos the blue was a perfect match....glad I didnt!

This was the hardest mod of all.....gunna be the most enjoyable and expensive though!

Hey Cam, the nudge bar was from Equipe Automotive. Check em out via the Trading post or google em.
I got it delivered for $275, Model SKU37, (clearance sale-had a ding in it from storage but bashed it out) and installed it myself.
With the Xtrail Store bash plate and the nudge, the front and underbody are pretty well protected. The "built in bash plate" on the nudge (1mm ally with slots, I think) will take some decent whacks, doesnt impede airflow in any way, and helps skidding over sand mounds on trails etc with momentum. But we definately needed the underbody protection as well.
Tara has tried her hardest to test them...and so have I to be honest
