Re: BORIS - hiimkam's ride
Good stuff Cam and a very nice list of mods so far. Keep up the good work
A word of caution though, the Series II front grill will not fit the Series I exy and vice versa. The shape of the front bumper is different between the 2 models.

Re: BORIS - hiimkam's ride
hey folks, just thought id flow a bit of an update your way.
Installed my eyelids from the x-trail shop today with contact cement and sealed the edges with silicone.
now boris resembles more of a BA falcon with the "angry" look on his face.
also, ive got my new rims on, read about them here. Ill update the original post as soon as i have pics of the eyelids (at current they have bricks wrapped in towels on them and they are covered with tape to secure them while drying - so it looks like if boris was a person, his face just had a nightmareish plastic surgery screw up haha ).
i ordered my OBX 4-1 headers online and my friend (who is a vehicle body builder) is fabricating the rest including a 2.5in high flow stainless steel cat.
sorry jalal, but i cant justify spending over 3 grand on a hi-tech system...
and after all im not building a 'GT beater' so im not fussed that i wont be getting the max power increase possible.
and besides anything is better than the stock 44-gallon drum + cat-in-the-header type deal...
im going for a nice LOUD, (legal), healthy sound and a beefy power increase, so i think thats what ill get in abundance with the OBX/custom system.
for an extra touch, i bought some fiberglass exhaust wrapping for the headers so my spent gasses can keep nice and warm as soon as they leave the block - ive had proven results with this treatment, my 4agze c-rolla had it done)
all up its costing me $240 + postage for the headers, and around $150 bucks for the tubing and cat/resonator(s).
any suggestions/queries?
also, what to do with the second O2 sensor hole?
does it just cover up or whats the best way to go about it?
cherio!

That's fine mate. It's not only the max power that is guaranteed with the Hi-Tech system, it offers much more than that and those who have it can vouch for its effectiveness and long term durability, but as you say, not everyone can afford it and the price of it is set to rise again pretty soon as well.
Now that you've mentioned your exhaust modification plans and seeking input, I think your questions will be better position in the aftermarket exhaust upgrades thread HERE and I will answer your questions about the second O2 sensor there as well if it hasn't already been covered in that thread.
