Re: BORIS - hiimkam's ride
nice. i was thinking about doing the exhaust heat wrap to my headers but they look so good i dont wana hide the ceramic coated stainless steel goodness. as for the o2 sensor hole you should be able to buy a blanking plug for like 4 bucks off ebay. what kinda of tail pipe/s you planning on fitting (sports muffler, cannons)?
would love to see pics of your exhaust getting made

Re: BORIS - hiimkam's ride
nice choice on the cosmo CAI! the only thing i found is that the rubber mounts could have been stronger. i scored two rubber/steel mounts that are perfect for mine. i think they were off a D22 navara intercooler? jalal will tell you to get a K&N pod filter to replace the csomo one, i still have the cosmo one but i will definatly get a K&N asap as jalal assures me it makes a big difference.

Re: BORIS - hiimkam's ride
Hey all big update!
over the last three days ive gone on a car modding spree!
firstly on saturday me with the help of a friend, installed my OBX 4-2-1 headers and then the straight through 2 1/4 inch catback system. Simply, the exhaust goes headers, stock front pipe, 3' stainless cat, muffler, resonator, two hotdog mufflers and then a tip that splits into two and comes out on a 45 degree to the drivers side of the car.
it drives well, not too lound, just sounds like a lightly modded WRX but a fair bit deeper and lumpier. didnt notice too much decrease of low range power, but the mid ranges and the highs are amazing!
relli pulls you back when you sink the right foot in!
then today my COSMO racing cold air intake came.
installed it in about an hour and that has made a big difference also.
makes a sweet growl around 4500rpm and pulls evenly through out the rev range, havnt had a chance to 1 let my ecu propperly adapt and 2 try the CAI on a cold night. tomorro i will install the bypass valve ready for the WA meet up on saturday (not that theres gonna be much water there!)
and also while i had the alternator loose, i deceided to check and lock our favourite butterfly screws
they were fairly tright to begin with and since the locktite, there definatley not budging!
ill do a full report for the exhaust after this weekend when ill take it all off and check for any thing out of the ordinary...
next is the apexi neo fuel controller
stay tuned.
