Cooch's T31

Ok, it’s been nearly 1 year since buying my brand spanking new T31 ST, so I thought (thanks to Stephen [loafer] who gave me a little push) I would start my own ‘Members Ride’.

What I started with is:

2008 T31 ST, 6 speed manual in Platinum, L/h drawer, rubber mats, bonnet protector, headlight protectors and a tow bar.

Image

Things I have already done:

· 30% brighter H4 headlight globes.
· Keyed towbar lock pin.
· Disabled key-in ignition warning chime.
· Genuine Nissan fog lamps. pic
· Marine carpet to back cargo area.
· Radiator protection (alloy mesh). pic
· Front and rear seat covers (seat airbag compatible) pic front , pic rear installed when car was new.
· LED mirror indicator covers. pic pic
· Extra tail/brake lights. pic
· Forum URL sticker and member No.
· 35% window tint.
· 3xLED glovebox light.
· Slimline weather shields. pic
· K&N air filter.
· ECB polished alloy nudge bar.
· Driving lights.
· Nissan driving light loom.
· TJM FUG underbody bash plate. (front, modified to fit properly) pic
· GME UHF radio. pic
· 35mm Pedders suspension coil lift. (page 7)

Image

Things I want to do:

· 16’ alloys
· Bigger A/T tyres ( Pro-Comp M/T’s, BF Goodrich All Terrains, Cooper ATR's)
· Rear under body protection. (home made, depending on time).
· Full length, 6 pin alloy roof cage incorporating rear mounting points. (also home made)
· Dual battery system.

At the moment that’s all I can think about.
I am sure that the mods will keep coming.

Tony

YAHOO! emoticon

Hey Tony

Is your L/h drawer standard? The reason I ask is that when I bought my exy, it came with a R/h drawer:

Perhaps Nissan alternated the drawers with the different models? ..... interesting emoticon

Stephen
Nah mate, the R/h side came standard, but after I signed on the dotted line I asked for them to give me the L/h side as well.
My reason was that astheticaly, it looked wrong.
I did a lot of screwing that day. hehehehe

Ahh emoticon

I thought about getting the L/h drawer, but am glad I didn't. I store my recovery gear on the LHS - makes it easier to retrieve in a hurry.

But I do understand your thinking ..... symetry is a good thing emoticon

Don't g et me wrong Stephen, the L/h drawer is excellent and I think well worth the money if someone was to buy it.
Storage is great as it is as deep as the R/h drawer.
The only nigling thing is that it is shaped slightly different to the R/h. Instead of opening via a little latch, you pull the drawer up to pull it out.

Tony,

I actually think it is WAY over-priced for a piece of plastic to be honest. Nissan are makin a killer by selling this drawer as an accessory.

Re: Cooch's T31

I started this thread because I thought I'd have a bit of time to do the Xy up.
Instead work is flat out, 7 days a week for the 3rd week in a row, yay.
I mean I haven't washed her for nearly six weeks now, shame on me. emoticon
When I start, there's no stopping me.

Re: Cooch's T31

Today, thanks to K Rudd, I ordered a TJM FUG bashplate and an ECB nudge bar.
The plate arrives in 2 days and the bar comes in roughly 2 weeks. emoticon

Just wondering if I should wait until I fit the bar before I fit the bash plate.
Can't wait.
