That is a decent sized antenna for a mobile phone.
Also looks like an additional reversing light in the bumper cutout for the foglight ?
Yes, I spent a month working up around Hill End NSW and needed the larger antenna for better reception as it's pretty patchy in those parts..
That's actually another brake light down there in the foglight cutout (forgot that one on the mod list). Nice effect when they're on actually..

Nice ride there Kristy, looks like its ready for the rough stuff.
A front bash plate would be recommended firstly and the a lift kit.

Re: RockDr's Ride - updated
Hi,
I would do a suspension lift either pedders or king springs.
Get another antennae for a UHF radio.
I noticed you are after different weathershields. Just a warning i have bought these off the two ebay sellers. The first ones i bought i have had on the car for a while but i find them a bit too dark and they do not go right to the front mirror meaning water can still come in when it rains.
The second set i have just tried i am still trying to get my money back. I have just been paying postage so far as he keeps on sending me ones which do not fit. Made a paypal claim now.
Either stick with the Nissan one you got and buy one for the other side or buy ones from the X-Trail shop. I havn't found any alternatives now.
I thought your engine looked clean compared to mine.

Re: RockDr's Ride - updated
Mat,
Sorry to hear you've had so many probs with the weathershields off ebay. Good thing you paid via Paypal - have had to claim a couple of times for different things and found the process quite painless.
Just on that topic though - it's like you've read my mind. I was looking at a silver set of weathershields from one particular ebay seller (if you've been looking you probably know who I mean!!). They look great, but you're probably right for this purchase it's better to go with trusted source.
Did you score the king springs off ebay? I've seen those on there also, but wasn't 100% sure of what I'd be getting....
Thanks for the advice and mod suggestions.....got a bloke here in Orange who is an excellent fitter so the UHF should be on the 'to do' list hey

Re: RockDr's Ride - updated
Hi Guys,
Just a quick note about those eBay weathershields and please don't think am trying to bag a product selling on eBay to promote the ones being sold through the Online Shop.
About 2 years ago I had a meeting with one of the eBay sellers to check the xtrail weathershields as I couldn't believe how cheap they were being sold for which sometimes is even cheaper than my cost price of the current weathershields I have in stock, so I wanted to hook-up with this seller and import them through him, as they're bringing them in from Indonesia. Anyway, we met and he gave me two sets to test, one was black and the other was silver.
When I test fitted these weathershields I found the following problems:
1. Not all of them were shaped correctly to the shape of the door, so one edge would stick and the other wouldn't.
2. They finished off and were cut too short as Mat had noticed, which meant rain will get through from the point near the mirrors.
3. They're PAINTED and not tinted, which means you can NOT see through them, which to me is a big NO NO, as it is a safety issue and I will never sell something that can jeopardize the driving conditions of my customers (hence why I don't import nudge bars which must have air-bag compliance)
4. The quality of workmanship is very poor compared to the ones we currently have in stock.
5. The guys selling these weathershields have no idea what an X-Trail is Unlike myself who breaths xtrail and tests every xtrail accessory before it is being released to you.

Re: RockDr's Ride - updated
Jalal is right about the silver weathershieds. I bought the dark tinted ones but didn't like them because rain can still come in. I found the dark tint blocked the visibility too much for me so the painted ones i think are dangerous for safety. Stick with the clear nissan ones or get a set from the X-Trail shop. These ones are a little bit slimmer so does not affect visibility as much and do fit to the mirror. I actually just bought a set of Nissan ones today but i am still keeping the tinted ones on the rear windows.
As for the springs, yes i purchased off ebay. Quite cheap i thought(price). Appears to be genuine and good quality. However if you need to have these fitted pedders may give you a reasonable price for installation if you buy their springs. Unless as you say someone can fit them for you at a reasonable price.
