Love will Forever Soar
It's back! I decided I could not wait any longer for the board to come back so I will continue my story here. I managed to find my last post of the story on my computer. I think I had posted it anyway.
I will do a little like A walk in Avonlea did. Here is the list of all of the children so I can refresh your memories a little But I will describe there personalities more than there appearances.
Dominic
Dominic is now 18 and attending Dalhousie Medical School. He is madly in love with Diana's adoptive child, Clara. Dominic how knows that he was adopted. He has turned out to be very much like Gilbert in the sense of ambition and definitely romance. Despite his ambitions, he still finds the time to cherish and love his family that he loves so.
Mary-Rose
Mary-Rose is now 15 and becoming a young woman of her own. In her grey-green eyes, a loving, caring, teasing and dreaming spirit lies in her. A splitting image of Anne, Mary-Rose loves to write and has now been published a few times. But still not sure of what she will do in life, this adventurous girl tries to keep her ambitions high as she is attending Redmond.
Walter (twin with Cordelia)
Walter is at the age of 11. Still attending Glen St-Mary Public school, he has become inseparable with his sister Cordelia. He is very adventurous as he explores the world trying to find out anything he can about it. But sometimes this curiosity gets him into traps that are not always convenient. Most of the time, Laurence Anthony gets the honor of rescuing him and that is one of the big reasons why Walter always looks up to him.
Cordelia(twin with Walter)
Cordelia, who is also at age 11, is quite different from Walter. She is very quiet, but still very self absorbent. Despite being known as the little goody two shoes at school, Cordelia can be very stubborn when she wants too. Having a strong love for her family, she prefers to stay out of conflict and drift away in day dreaming. But she may find out that she has more hidden talents than she thinks.
Lily
Lily, who is at the age of 9, will be going off to Queen's next September. Lily is probably the most ambitious of all of the Blythe children. Gifted, she always takes a chance and risks to make life more exciting and interesting. Lily is always going off looking for another challenge. Always running around everywhere, she is very supportive and will always have the heart of a child. Even though, she sometimes tries to grow up to quickly.
Mathew
Mathew, who is 8 years old, has similarities to Cordelia. Anne knows that his is definitely going to be a poet one day just by looking in his eyes. Being very quiet, he observes every little detail and admirers very much in life. He was always a soft and gentle boy filled with compassion. Even when constantly looking up to his father, he loves just as much the soft and understanding side of Anne. Falling asleep in his mother's arms when he was younger always brought great comfort to him.
Gilbert Jr.
Gilbert Jr. is now 4 years old, running around like the carefree little mischievous boy he is. Being the splitting image of his father, Anne decided to name him by her beloved husband. Gilbert Jr. could listen to his father's stories with amazement for hours.
I will add the rest of the characters tomorrow.

Re: Love will Forever Soar
A.N. Here is the last reply I had added to my story. I will add a new update tomorrow.
October had finally arrived. The cold wind of winters was approaching gently as it traveled from the coasts. The waves were gliding across the roaring seas as leaves flew in the whistling wind. A cloudy, quiet day had taken over the skies of Glen St-Mary. Anne was taking a walk outside. Gilbert was gone at work, Dominic was gone back to medical school, Lily was at Queen's with Mary-Rose, and the rest of the kids were in school. Anne only had the company of Gilbert Jr. who was walking beside her, while holding her hand.
"It's a nice day, isn’t it Gilbert?" Anne asked.
"It's a wittle windy." Answered Gilbert Jr. as he shivered a little. Anne picked him up in his arms and started him around. Gilbert Jr. started laughing, and so did Anne. She started dancing with Gilbert Jr., and continued on laughing with joy. Little did she know, that someone was observing her.
"That girl will always have the heart of a child." Miss Stacey said admiring Anne from her veranda. When Anne turned around, she spotted the little house not to far from her, where Miss Stacy was sitting on the veranda. It was a little house with red bricks and big windows. A big garden always surrounded it in the spring and summer.
"Why hello Miss Stacy! How are you doing these days." Anne asked.
"Well, I've been doing quite good. Mind you, I am not as young as I used to be." Miss Stacy said.
Anne laughed. "We all get older; it's a part of life." Anne said taking a deep breath.
"Defiantly not for you, Anne. You have seven children, and you still don't have a wrinkle!" Miss Stacy said. Anne laughed again.
"So how is your writing coming along? I've red your last story, and it was amazing. It brought tears to my eyes, as much as it mad me laugh." Miss Stacy said.
"Thank you. It's holding up. I am still waiting for a big inspiration though. I really do not know what to write about next." Anne replied.
"I'm sure you will find something. You always do." Miss Stacy said.
"Thank you, Miss Stacey. Well, if you don't mind, I think Gilbert Jr. is getting a little cold, so we will head back home."
"No problem." answered Miss Stacey.
But before Anne went home, she stopped at the post office and found a interesting letter for her.
Dear Mrs. Blythe,
The Glen St-Mary school board would like to ask you a big favour. We are sorry it is on such short notice, but this is an emergency. Mr. Andrew, our Glen St-Mary public school teacher, is leaving Glen St-Mary for a family emergency. He is moving in the week to come, and we would like to know if you would be interested in replacing him. We found out that you have thought for a few years in the past, and have good experience. If you decided to take this offer, we will send you the details as soon as possible.
Please, reply as soon as possible,
the Glen St-Mary school board.
Anne closed up the letter, and thought for a moment. She told herself she was going to need to sleep on this offer. Besides, tonight was a big night. It was Gilbert's birthday, and they had some big plans.

Re: Love will Forever Soar
A.N. I'm ignoring if the song in this post was not already invented in this time but I just love it anyway Enjoy!
"Hurry up Walter!" Anne called.
"I'll be right there. I'm telling you, if this tie was on any tighter, I wouldn’t be able to breathe!" Walter said.
"Come here, I'll fix it for you." Gilbert said kneeling down. "There you go."
"Thanks dad."
The Blythe family were going out to a fancy restaurant for Gilbert's birthday. But Anne was relieved knowing that they didn't have any big plans. It was just going to be a nice quiet dinner. Once they sat down, they waited for there food patiently as they were listening to a few singers that took up the small stage in the restaurant.
"So Cordelia, Are you excited?" Lily asked.
"Shush! We don't want dad or mom do hear. And yes, I'm quite excited despite the anxiety I have." Cordelia answered.
"You will do fine. I can't wait to see you up there!"
"Well, if I don't faint first. I'm just glad it's after dinner so I have some time to calm down." Cordelia said.
Cordelia turned to Dominic. "Now, you’re sure that everything is set?"
"I'm sure, Cordelia. Don't tell me you can't even trust your own brother!" Dominic said teasingly. Cordelia punched his arm and turned back to continue chatting with Lily.
"Oh, Gilbert. When was the last time we went out to a restaurant all of us together?" Anne asked.
"It's been a long time I must say." Gilbert replied.
"Gil, who is that?" Anne asked looking at a couple coming in. "They look familiar."
"I know. Maybe we've seen them around before?" Gilbert asked.
"I think so." But Anne soon recognize the couple. It was Morgan Harris and his wife.
"Anne! Is that you?" Morgan Harris *caugh* *caugh* old fart *caugh* *caugh* asked.
"Yes, how good to see you again!" Anne said.
"Oh, you do remember my wife, Beatrice Harris?" Morgan asked.
"Oh yes, I believe I have met you once before." Anne replied shaking Beatrice's hand.
"Are these your children?" Beatrice asked admiring them.
"Oh yes. Here we have Dominic, Mary-Rose, Walter, Cordelia, Lily, Mathew and Gilbert Jr." Anne said.
"They are lovely. You really do have a large family." Beatrice said.
"Thank you. Oh, and this is my husband Gilbert Blythe." Anne said. Beatrice shook his hand. Once they went away to there table, Gilbert leaned in to whisper to Anne.
"I don't remember seeing her before."
"I think they just got married not too long ago." Anne replied.
"Oh, I see." Gilbert listened to the music as he observed Morgan. Morgan got up from his seat and led Beatrice to the dance floor, giving Gilbert a dirty look. Gilbert soon turned around and led Anne up to the dance floor.
"Shall I have this dance?" Gilbert asked.
"You certainly may." Anne replied. As Morgan twirled Beatrice around on the dance floor, Gilbert did the same with Anne. Morgan and Gilbert kept stealing glances from each other the whole dance.
"Do you see that Mary? I think dad and Morgan are going to start a "my horse is bigger than your horse" type of thing." Said Dominic.
"I think your right." Mary-Rose said laughing.
Once the song ended, everyone went back to there tables. The Blythes had received there food and finished it in no time.
"I'm full!" said Lily sitting back.
"Me too!" Anne said.
"This has been a wonderful birthday, Carrots." Gilbert said putting his arm around her.
"It isn’t over yet!" Mathew said.
"What do you mean?" Gilbert asked looking at Anne.
"Don’t ask me. I have no idea what they mean." Anne said.
"Look!" Gilbert Jr. said pointing at the stage. Both Anne and Gilbert turned to look at the stage. there was Dominic standing, ready to talk.
"Good evening. My name is Dominic Blythe. Tonight, is a very special night, on the count of it's my father's birthday. There he is, sitting over there, Gilbert Blythe." Everyone turned to Gilbert who looked a little shy.
"He means the world to me and my family. He is also very brave, since he is a veteran of the world war. My sister, Cordelia Blythe will sing a song dedicated to him." Dominic said leaving the stage to Cordelia.
"Hello, as my brother has told you, my dad was in the world war. And to be brave like him, is..." Cordelia started to sing the song.
To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star
Cordelia's voice flew through the room, leaving tears in everyone's eyes. She had a voice like no other. The most amazing voice that anyone has ever heard. Gilbert's jaw dropped as his daughter sang. So did Anne's.
Cordelia turned to her father sinning to him.
This is my quest
To follow that star(Gilbert)
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far
To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For a heavenly cause(referring from when he went to war)
And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star
Once Cordelia was finished, everyone in the crowded restaurant was at it's feet cheering and clapping. No one has ever heard Cordelia sing before. Gilbert had tears in his eyes as he ran towards the stage, picked Cordelia up and swung her around with a big smile.
"That was beautiful! That was amazing! I didn't know you could sing. Well, you certainly didn't get that voice from me." Gilbert said.
"Thanks dad!"

Re: Love will Forever Soar
Once Cordelia finally had a chance to sit back down, Gilbert Jr. decided that he would go walk around the restaurant. Besides, no one would notice, since they were all giving Cordelia the attention, Gilbert Jr. thought. So he gently sneaked away from Anne and went towards Morgan’s table.
“Why hello, there.” Morgan said.
“Hello.” Gilbert Jr. replied unsure of who he was talking too.
“So Junior, your sister was really good tonight, eh?”
“Ya, she was. Who are you again?” Gilbert Jr. asked.
“I’m Moran Harris. Your mom knew me when she was teaching in Kingsport, way before you were born.” Morgan replied.
“Ooooohhhhh! You’re the one that mommy and daddy called an old fart!” Gilbert Jr. giggled.
“What?! Your not supposed to say things like that. You need to be taught better manners.” Morgan said seriously. But Gilbert Jr. thought it was funny and kept laughing.
“Old fart! Old fart! Old fart!”
“Why you little brat! Wait until I get a hold of you!” Morgan said getting impatient.
“Morgan Harris! You let go of my child!” Anne said.
“You should teach him better manners! That little brat called me an old fart!” Morgan said angry.
“Well, maybe he’s telling the truth.” Anne said.
Morgan laughed and looked into Anne’s eyes. “ I see you are very protective of your children, Anne. I’ve always admired you because of that.” Said Morgan as he drew Anne closer.
“Let go of me!” Anne yelled. At that moment, Gilbert got up and walked up to Anne. He knew he would embarrass her if he would tell Morgan his way of thinking, so instead he grabbed Anne and gave her a passionate kiss. Anne blushed and almost forgot that Morgan was standing right next to them. Morgan just groaned. But then, Beatrice appeared and slapped him across the face before walking out of the restaurant. Anne did the same before she left to go back to her table. And for the grand finally, Gilbert Jr. jumped right on Morgan’s toe. Morgan jumped around on one foot as the people in the restaurant laughed.
When everyone came back home, Anne and Gilbert were talking in their room.
“I think I’ll need to be more careful about what I say around Junior!” Anne laughed.
Gilbert laughed as well. “I honestly felt like punching that man, but I had a feeling it was not going to be pretty if I did do that.”
“Oh, Gilbert. Your so incorrigible. But I honestly had no idea that Cordelia could sing like that! It was amazing!” Anne said.
“I know! I wonder where she got that voice from. I never heard anything like it.” Gilbert replied.
“Well, I’m tiered. Good night Gil.” Anne said.
“Good night Anne. Love you.”
“Love you too.”
~The next day~
"Walter! Walter! Wait up!" Mathew called running towards Walter near the stream.
"What is it? Make it quick, I just caught a big frog!" Walter said lifting up a frog.
"I overheard mom and dad talking."
"And...did they kiss each other again?" Walter chuckled knowing that it always grossed out Mathew when they did that.
"Well...ya I suppose they did but that's not what I wanted to tell you. They were talking about how mom got a letter to ask if she was able to teach at our school. And she said that she will do it!" Mathew exclaimed.
"Really! I know Mr. Andrew was talking about someone replacing him, but I had no idea it would be mom!" Walter said.
"I know, but don't you think it might be fun having mom as a teacher?" Mathew asked.
"I guess so. Anyway, she'll probably brake the news to all of us soon."
"Let's go back inside. I'm getting cold out here." Mathew shivered.
"Ok."
At the table, it was now much more quiet than it used to be. With Dominic and Mary-Rose back at medical school and Queen's, everything seemed to be different.
"Well, I have something to announce." Anne started. I got a letter from the..." Anne got interrupted.
"Glen St-Mary public school because Mr. Andrew is leaving, and now they have asked you to replace him and you and dad decided that it was a good offer and now you want to take the jog." Walter finished.
"Um...yeah. That's pretty much it. Have you been listening on us again boys?" Anne said.
"Yeah." Both Walter and Mathew replied. Gilbert chuckled and continued eating.
"So when do you start?" Cordelia asked.
"I start next Monday.”
Please put all of your reponses in the response topic.
