Re: The 2007 read a book a week challenge!
I think I'll try to give it a go this year.. although no guarantees! What fun it would be to read so many books, though.. I'll have to search our library search engine to figure out which ones to do this coming term!

Re: The 2007 read a book a week challenge!
AvFan, I used to read as many books as you read this year. Call me crazy but I have written down every single book I have read since June 2000, and have later made stats for every month. The most I read since I started to keep track of my reading was 332 in 2001, but then again the average lenth of those books was 157 pages. I think I really read the most in 2003: 152 books with an average of 253 pages. It's fun to follow the development of my reading habbits. I wish I had recorded my early teenage years' reading too. l.ol I'm crazy about stats.
Oh, and I do think all this reading hasn't been too good for my eyes. Nowadays my eyes sometime get so tired that I have to stop reading. And I think it's the reading that has ruined my far sight, even thou the opticans say there is no proof of any such connection. Well, whatever, I can't stop reading...
