Re: What movies have you seen recently?
How was the American Girl movie, Rilla? I didn't get to see it, but I'm curious. I enjoyed the last two movies they put out. The Christmas Card sounds good, too. I'm a sucker for Christmas movies.
The last movie I saw was "The Fountain". It took awhile to get into, but I enjoyed it once I did. That is, until the ending. It left me confused. If someone has seen this movie and can explain it to me, I'd be forever grateful.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
TV: Under the mistletoe on lifetime
For actual movies, Comfort and Joy with Nancy McKeon and Steve Eckerholdt and the Christmas shoes (watched them on the same night)

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
quote: The American Girl movie was very good. I liked it almost as much as Samantha...my mother liked it even better. Of course it does help that Molly is my second favorite American Girl anyway. I thought the girl who played Molly did a good job with the role... it was very patriotic... they did a good job with the time period. It's been awhile since I read the books, so I'm not sure how closely it followed the books, but it was a very enjoyable movie.
My oldest daughter (age 12) loves all 3 American Girl movies, her fave being Molly, followed by Samantha, and then Felicity. I watched some of Molly with her and I thought it was done very well, but it was so weird seeing Molly Ringwold as the mother. I hadn't seen her in, like, years and years. It was cool to see her again. Anyhoo, I got my daughter a packaged set of all 3 American Girl movies on DVD for Christmas. . Being the huge American Girl fan that she is, she's going to jump for joy when she opens that gift.
The last movie I saw was Prancer. It's a cute, Christmas movie made back in the 80's.
