"Fly away Home"

Watching "Fly Away Home ".

Girl teaching Canadian Goose to fly.
With help of her father and a few other people.
Beautifull Ontario-scenery,in Fall
Makes it hard to decide things for next year.

Note:
We had a plague of Canadian Goose in our town two years ago.
Our area is popular for migrating birds of all kinds. The goose decided to stay, instead going further.Plenty of food around.
Blocking traffic in peak-hour, while walking the streets.

There were two options.
Shooting them or transporting them to Canada.
After a lot of newscoverage, they have been flown to Canada by plane.

Re: "Fly away Home"

wild, henk! I wonder how the geese got so fa from home. I'm glad they were flown to Canada rather than shot. We get Canada geese in our area every year, and other geese as well. Having two lakes in town pretty much guarantees it, although lucky for us, the geese and ducks congregate at the other, bigger lake, not the small one we live on-- a few years ago, I was woken up repeatedly by bird conventions at 2am! We have beautiful swans now, with 4-7 cygnets every year. emoticon

I like Fly Away Home.. it's a good movie. emoticon

Re: "Fly away Home"

intersting story.. and i aim glad they transported the birds...

CG can be noisy and messy at times but the babies sure are cute. Ducks and swans are my vote over CG but they have their place too

BTW- Good movie.
