I've TOUCHED the new Harry Potter book, and lived to tell it...
Yes my friends, be very jealous of me. I've actually held the new Harry Potter book in my little hands. I had to catalog it today, so it would be ready for circulation on Saturday. It's a big book, and the cover is very colorful. I can't wait for my Amazon order to come on Saturday. Now I know what I'll be reading in Milwaukee this upcoming week.

You didn't peak even just a little bit? I mean, that is, of course, the ethical thing to do.. I just don't know if I could resist. They got it to you early? Woah. I'm excited to get mine Sat. too.

Re: I've TOUCHED the new Harry Potter book, and lived to tell it...
my sister's friend's mom is a librarian and already read it.. cool for her, but not cool in general. but, as my sis said, 'darn, I knew there were reasons I should've been a librarian.'... granted, she and her husband just started the books entirely in the last week (but are reading like freight trains..)
the newspaper had stuff today about keeping the secret.. some girl has started media-free lockdown already, somebody scheduled a cruise to start Sunday so she can pick it up Saturday and avoid spoilers the whole week... wild... I mean, I think the books are great, but I think that's putting a bit too much of a premium on them..
