Storylines you disliked in Season 5 (spoilers)
Which storylines did you NOT like in Season 5? What did you dislike about them?
Pick as many as you want (the ones that you did not like).

Re: Storylines you disliked in Season 5 (spoilers)
Grace and Van's marriage and the con
I disliked this one because Grace really deserved happiness not to be tricked by some jerk.
Fat, Pritchard and Rebecca's triangle
I just never really liked Rebecca or Pritchard that much.
Jim reinventing himself and dating Audrey
It just didn't really seem like Jim
Honey, Dr. Asher and wanting to get a degree
One of the big differernces between the new honey and the old one.
Rebecca and her mysterious mother
It wasn't that interesting

Re: Storylines you disliked in Season 5 (spoilers)
I thought Honey/Dr. Asher/the degree was fine, and I was neutral about Max becoming mayor.
Of the ones I didn't like, Grace's storyline was probably the worst. I feel similarly to EJGirl... after four seasons, Grace was finally in a place where she had found some inner peace and happiness, and it was no fun to see her not only be involved with a con man, but actually marry him. In the final episode, Grace was obviously more unhappy than she had been in a long time, and that was no way to end the series.
Hub's storyline was ok, I suppose, but I was annoyed they dredged up the Honey/May conflict again. It's been done before, and I was tired of it. Hub seemed to have lost some of his smarts in this final season though... he seems a little "unsmart".
I actually liked "Marriage of True Minds", but they dragged the whole infatuation with Rebecca on for too long. By "The Summer Plague", I was sick of Fat and Pritchard acting stupid around Rebecca.
I think they should have done a better job explaining why Jim decided against pursuing Grace, when they spent all of Season 4 building up to his epiphany that he needed to let go of the past. I know there was a new writer, but still...
I thought Toppy writing a book was a little out of place... I wanted Max to pursue writing again! I was still glad we got another season of Toppy being in the main cast, of course.
