good thing videos are non perishable and the marshmallows, cocoa and popcorn have a long shelf life. They will be good stapels to have on hand should the need arise. BTW I picked, i stopped by the wine cellar and picked up a bottle of good wine, brandy, cognac and champagne that will get better with age ( like all of us  ) and will be good to use if and when the formum goes down again 
* edited to say I was thinking of the m*a*s*h episode where Col Potter had that 1 bottle of french brandy from WWI where he was the last survivor of his calavary group of comrades. anyhoo we could include some good ole' canadian or eurpoean beer if need be, and plenty of soft drinks, juices and bottled water.*

It's starting rain, they tell us it will storm. I must be in the Desert!?! Though I rather be "chillin'" in Pfeiffer Big Sur or Yosemite Nat. Forest right now...than Anza Borrego during a storm.

We've set-up camp and I'm making pancakes! Stacks and stacks of 'em! Get them while they are hot!
Then we are going hiking...
on our way to a secret swimming hole..
Almost forgot the River Rats, the most convenient form of water travel!
The way the old forum is running, we might as well register as Camp Keepers and start pushing fire wood for the Forest Service. Hopefully someone brought their Satellite System for Movie Night. Though we always welcome Park Rangers who have good stories to tell.

OOH I love the swimming hole. I think a rope swing is in order... most def 
we could also add a themal hot springs and a suana for additional stress relief

Well It's summer I suppose it was due that the forum would go down so that we would have to leave the cozy neighbourhood for the mosquito ridden camp grounds. Parks the Airstream Motor coach, and begins setting up camp, and putting out the bug zappers.
