wow. that reminds me of when the ohio river flooded by my in-laws and water was half way up the interstate 7 signs. Hope u guys dry out soon. loos like you will need 1000 shop vacs to dry up that mess

*giggles* water street!

it's been thunderstorming all week long, and OMC i just heard the scariest thunder. it sounded like something exploded and crashed on the house. like, a giant anne shirley cracked her slate on giant gilbert and he burst out bawling. emoticon

there was some frightful thunder last night, too, when i was staying up at 3am and wanted to make a cup of tea, but i was scared to leave my room. i normally love thunderstorms but i don't know why, i'm a scaredy cat these days. emoticon

Is it following you ?

We phoned "the farm" in Stoney Creek twice this week. And they are having fair weather they said .

Actualy we were supposed to have heavy rain this weekend. But looking on the satelite-maps, it is just east of us.
The other side of the lake, till far into Germany has a thick cloud hanging above it.

Yesterday we had the young people from church over. We played a card game called "Bang". It's quite fun and is sort of a spoof on the Wild West.
Depending on the players there a Sherriff, two to three outlaws, a renegade, and one to two deputies. The Sheriff and the deputies want to kill the outlaws and the renegade. The outlaws want to kill the sheriff. The renegade wants to kill everyone, but the sheriff has to be the last person to die.
It's a lot of fun and there's all these interesting cards. To keep track of your life, you have bullets. In order to get a bullet back, you drink a beer.

Now, since none of us would be shooting people or drinking beer, this game can get pretty funny!
"I'm shooting you, Josh!" BANG!
"All right! I shot the sheriff!"
"Okay, I'm putting you in jail, Sarah."
"I need a beer."

The one girl didn't join the game until later, so my brother just explained it to her as we played. Well, we forgot to tell her about the Saloon card. She stole the card from another player and went, "Woah!

That's just my favorite place to go!"

It's a lot of fun.
