Well, "Anne of Greengables" is the only Sullivan produktion I know. I have never seen "Road to...." and "Wind at my....."

Re: Your favorite Sullivan production?

Well, I've thought about this question in many different angles and I've come to the conclusion that my answer to this poll is "Wind at My Back".

Now, overall I like Road to Avonlea better. However, when I began looking at different angles and aspects, I like WaMB better.

Lantern Hill is my favorite of everything that I've seen that Sullivan Ent. has done. emoticon

Definitely Road To Avonlea, then Anne of Green Gables. Wind At My Back is entertaining, but falls well below the other two.

Re: Your favorite Sullivan production?

I don't know what to vote myself. I really love the first Anne movie, but the second is not as great and the third is far from great. And resently I have fallen totally in love with Road to Avonlea... Really. So I don't know what to think anymore. But the Anne characters mean much more to me than the RTA ones, since I have known the AOGG characters for years, whereas the RTA characters are new akvaintansies. (Now I'm thinking about poor Felix and the Spelling Bee, since I have no idea to spell this word.) RTA is probably better seen as a unit, allthou I haven't seen all of the seasons.

Re: Your favorite Sullivan production?

I like all three productions.

I was mostly debating between "Wind at My Back" and "Anne of Green Gables"...

I never get tired of the first Anne movie, and I can't imagine a better adaptation of the book. Anne 2 was great too, though less so than Anne 1. I would rate Anne 1 as one of my favourite movies of all time.

I chose "Wind at My Back" since there were so many more hours of it... I had at least three favourites in each season that I would never tire of watching, and most of the other episodes I like as well. With many of the other TV series that I watch, including RtA, there are some episodes each season that I like a lot, but also quite a few that I don't care for as much. I also have a deeper feeling for the characters of "Wind", maybe because of all the things they go through in the Great Depression, a historical period I'm interested in. As a unit, "Wind" seems to tell a very complete story, from Season 1-2 and then from Season 3-4, which seem almost like an extended mini-series.

Re: Your favorite Sullivan production?

I love all three of them, but choosing between Anne of Green Gables and Wind at my Back is the hardest. I think I might have to go with Anne of Green Gables (only counting the first movie) because while Wind at my Back has a few weak moments (nearer its end) the movie Anne of Green Gables seems almost perfect.

Hmmm... probably Road to Avonlea, but all 3 are wonderbully. emoticon Anne would be second, with Lantern Hill tying or at least coming close in second place. Then WAMB... but even though it's last, of the choices, it's still a hard choice, and one of the best tv series ever. emoticon
