She passed away this weekend at the age of 81.

^^As the OP indicates, and the linked article says, she played Aunt Josephine in the Anne miniseries and Mrs. Whitney in Wind At My Back.

She played the perfect Aunt Josephine... she was so stiff at the beginning but you can feel that she had a special place in her heart for "Anne girl".
