Everything Arthur: Modern Doctor Rebel
We first see Arthur in Avonlea as the moody rebellious son of Clive Pettibone - and the adored older brother of Izzy and Morgan.
He's home on break from Veterinary school - and he's failing. From all we can tell about him from the way he dresses to the way he speaks he SOUNDS very smart, but he's also at a very low point in his life - he doesn't know what he's doing, and I think he's pretty down.
He's also has a very feisty/rebellious relationship with his father that he eventually works out - I suppose as he matures. He is still in his teens, I'd say he's about 18 or so.
Then he meets Felicity and well-equipt with his modern, rebellious ideas, pursues her full-tilt.
Arthur, however has a very caring heart and he is very passionate about things. He's well-read and quite smart.
I find his character development interesting, even though it was not a major plot in this show.
By the time HCMK rolls around, he's smiling and happy - something most people point out and I think it is because he has figured out where he wants to head in life. Arthur does have a sense of humour and I think it's a mistake to overlook what sortof issues was in his life in the beginning as opposed to the end.
Anyways, I have MORE to say but I am sure others will want to jump in and say what they think and feel too.

Re: Everything Arthur: Modern Doctor Rebel
Hehehe, yes he is easy on the eyes!
I did like him much better after Fuss love triangle, his character starts to take on new angles.
I suppose this is because we only see one side of him as he's aggressively pursuing Felicity.
And Ilse - I can't wait to see your fanfic! I will have to work on me own, too so we can have a Sartie party.
