Petition

I think (as was said in another section) that we should have the old forum back up in times like these. There are like 4-5 different forums everyone is on now and it just seems so chaotic! I think that as soon as they find out that a forum is closed they should put the old one back up for us to use, and when we see that the current one is closed we would know where to go. Except for like...new members. I am not sure how that would work....hm..Insights?

Hm. I must have the wrong email address. I tried to Email sullivan and i got it sent back to me. I just searched on the anne page for it...does anyone else have it?

The thought crossed my mind as well, though I have a feeling the old forum really isn't in existence anymore. The old topics don't even come up in google anymore.
I would imagine that if the hacker got into their servers, there might be trouble putting it up due to the fact that the hacker might not have just downed the forum - we just don't know.

i think they should have the old forum back up permanently, too.

emilyofdreams, no, the old topics are all gone, but some of them are archived at http://betwil.hollosite.com/

and some somewhere else too... i will have to check.

I got a reply this morning.

Thank you for your email in regards to the forum. On Tuesday, a hacker
has hacked into the forum and caused a great deal of damage. On
Wednesday, the forum was put back up only to have it hacked in again
with more damage than usual. Until the IT tech support team can work
out a security system that's more advanced than the hacker (who seems to
know IT tricks very well), it would be unwise to put any forum back up
again until a great deal of security measures have been put into place.

We hope to get the forums back up and running as soon as possible.
Please have patience in us. We appreciate the support.

I hope not too many old topics were lost... I don't understand why anyone would bother to do this to an Anne forum.
