I have no clue how to even use it,lol!
Does at least having the machine count for being crafty? emoticon

Mabey one day I'll take the time to learn how to make something and then I'll tell you guys about it!

lol - I have a sewing machine that mostly collects dust. One thing I discovered - patterns are NOT for me. I made a dress and a skirt (with help from grandma and aunt, respectively), and it was horrid. Since then, I've used it for basic "crafty" things. Essentially, it's really useful for things that require a basic straight hem.

Oh my...I want one sooo bad! LOL Probably will suck at it but I really want one. It would help with the curtains I just put up in my bedroom for example. LOL...I took my old dust ruffle and cut it up and just tacked it to the wall...lol...it would help to get a curtain rod too but whatever.

Until you get one, they have this stuff at the sewing store - can't remember the name, but it sort of looks like tape. You put in between the pieces of cloth or fold the edge around that you want to hem or whatever and then iron it. It forms a bond. "Liquid hem" or something like that is the name. (Sorry, I'm bad with names). Anyway, it works pretty well.

I wanted mine too really bad, I bought it last year while hubby was overseas because I wanted to stay busy, but my kids kept me plenty busy so I never really got a chance to learn how to sew anything. I wanted to and still do want to, want to make some curtains and slipcovers. Mabey one day, I just need to make the time to learn I guess.

Time what's that? LOL

Addi I know what you are talking about. I've seen that stuff - really this is just a rental that we are in so I don't care too much...I'll make do.

I want to learn to make taggies and attempt to sell them like I attempt to sell all my other crap...lol. I crochet baby blankets and make diaper cakes. emoticon
