Bible Note Quote: "If we love God and our neighbor as we should, we will have little if any trouble obeying God's rules. Righteous living flows outward from a heart full of God's love."
quote from The Great Commandment and the Golden Rule

(This quote should be changed periodically.  So come back and see another quote soon.)

Testimonies

If you are a Christian and would like to testify about what the Lord has done for you, you may certainly do so here, but please be sure to read the Bible Notes message board rules before posting. The wording of such testimonies should be carefully done so as not to glorify sin and Satan, but rather to glorify God, to edify the saints, and to convince the unsaved that God really can make us new creatures in Christ Jesus.

If many testimonies appear here in the Main Chat, I will consider creating a new forum in which to post testimonies. To make the creation of a new forum easier, feel free to post your testimony as a new topic in this Main Chat forum.

Please note that when you post a new topic, it will not appear until the BibleNoteWriter visits the message board and "unhides" your post. Therefore, it is advisable to use the "Preview" button to see what your new topic post will look like before submitting it.

Your salvation experience (you have believed upon the Lord Jesus Christ and God has forgiven you of all your sins and has given you a new heart and life in Christ Jesus) may be related here.

If you are a Christian who has received a second definite work of grace in which God has cleansed your heart from all sin (entire sanctification) and given you the blessed Comforter (the Holy Spirit in His fullness), please feel free to tell about it here.*

Other types of Christian testimony may be allowed as well, such as deliverence from various troubles and diseases and/or answers to prayer.

Disclaimer: Some things (teachings and/or experiences) that appear in some testimonies might not be in agreement with the purpposes of the Bible Notes message board. If they happen to appear in this forum, that does not necessarily mean that the BibleNote Writer agrees with them. Whether or not such things are removed will depend upon how seriously the BibleNoteWriter believes that these things might hinder others and/or make this message board less effective at accomplishing its purposes. At times, the BibleNote Writer might edit a testimony to keep it in harmony with the purposes of this board based upon the BibleNoteWriter's sole judgment.

* Anyone who wants to tell about their special gift of "Tongues" (speaking in an unknown language, which no one hearing can understand unless they have some special "gift of interpretation"), please remember that the BibleNote Writer considers this to be an erroneous gift -- not at all given by God -- and this type of teaching will not be allowed in the Bible Notes message board. At some point, I intend to present more fully in a Bible Note or in a Bible Study what the true "Gift of Tongues" in the Bible was and/or is about.
