Bible Note Quote: "If we love God and our neighbor as we should, we will have little if any trouble obeying God's rules. Righteous living flows outward from a heart full of God's love."
quote from The Great Commandment and the Golden Rule

(This quote should be changed periodically.  So come back and see another quote soon.)

Know a Poem (a simple poem)

Know a Poem

Know a poem if you will,
One of meaning, not of thrill.
Sing a poem in a song,
Ring its melody along.

You can know a poem.
Know a poem if you will.

Notes: This poem I wrote specifically to try out a new meter that I had not seen in a book on the elements of poetry which I read as a teenager. But this "new" meter seemed a logical development from what I learned in that book. It is strange that I do not remember what the logical name of the meter was or might be, but perhaps I will research this subject and either rename this meter or find what someone else has already named it. emoticon
