Bible College Days: Awakened to Pray the Prayer of Faith

I suppose it was because I had been elected to be the Prayer and Fasting chairman for my final year at Bible college, but, whatever the reason, a fellow men's dorm resident decided to awaken me in the middle of the night for prayer. His illness was keeping him awake and he really needed to sleep. So he awakened me to pray for him.

We went down to the Recreation Room and knelt for prayer. There was nothing really spectacular about my prayer, but I asked God to touch my fellow student's body so that he could go to sleep. I trusted God to answer according to His will. Then we went to our separate rooms.

The next morning, the young man told me that he slept very well the rest of the night. I wasn't surprised, because God does things like that for us if we will only ask and believe Him to answer.
