Welcome to the board! emoticon

How interesting to travel in your RV full time! My husband and I always say we would like to sell the house and buy an RV. Then we would park it in my daughter's driveway during the winter months (she lives in Florida) and in his son's driveway in the summer (he lives in Pennsylvania). emoticon

But the reason we don't do it is because my husband is not mechanically inclined. Our mechanic has an RV and says there is always something needing fixed or worked on with an RV. So we ditched that idea!

I'll bet you've seen some interesting sights! How long have you been doing that?

My parents do the same thing in the winter they live in Airzona, and the Summer they have an lot in Wyoming.
So it might be a nice thing to do once the boys are all grown up.

HI DI HO EVERYONE!!!
Sorry it took me so long to get here Blue......I have over 35 sites besides mine I try to get too.... emoticon

Well your mechanic is right.......there is ALWAYS something that needs tending too. But the same could be said about a house! emoticon

We have always gone camping.....even when Hubby and I were kids, our parents camped.
But we really started the RV living lifestyle when our son was born. As Hubby was in the Navy, every time he had to transfer duty stations (which was usually every 2 to 3 years) we planned it in the summer.......and always took our time going across the country........doing the sightseeing as we went. OUR son says' he could go on some game show as much as he knows about the country! emoticon

But we lived in Minnesota the last 12 years.....to make sure that son could graduate with his friends....so hubby retired....
But when our son decided to go to college in Prescott, Arizona....well, girlfriend.......I was NOT staying in Minnesota and shoveling snow for one more year!
We sold the house, going on 1 1/2 years ago....and have been living in our RV ever since...
ON my site I have several topics that are all about the travels we've been on with tons of pictures of what we've seen.
Son decided that he was not cut out for college, and has joined the Navy, like father ....like son! But as they did not have his job billet yet, he is living with us this winter until he goes in in April........
This winter we decided to spend it in Las Cruces, New Mexico....it's a lovely town and great people!
We really do love this life style...
People will say to me........HOW can you live in such a small space? My answer........."What do you do in a house....eat, sleep, and watch TV....we can do all that here. PLUS, it take me all of 20 minutes to clean and I have the whole United States as my front and back yard.......AND someone else has to MOW!" emoticon

Well, anyone can do it if they have no fear of driving freeways using a 40 foot bus!! emoticon
Lucky for me....hubby learned to drive anything, anywhere while in the Navy! emoticon
I always say, that if anything happens to Hubby, I'll drive my little car to the nearest dealer......have them drive my BIG rig to they're lot.........and I'll trade it in on a smaller one....that I can drive! emoticon I have driven one almost this big....but DID NOT like it...... emoticon
