Using a "Flex" Points system
Using a "Flex" Points system
-----------------------------------------
Weight Watchers has a plan called Flex Points.
Basically it goes like this: Your new "Target" is 2 points more than the minimum of your old range (on the Points System). (see chart below)
You must eat at least that much every day.
You are then free to use 35 Flex points each week any way you choose.
Once your 35 flex points are used up that's it for the week, they don't carry forward.
You can still earn activity points and use them if you want to (activity points MUST be used on the day they are earned).
The Flex points system allows for that buffet lunch or that birthday party or just when you feel like eating more.
Here is the Flex Points chart with your Target Points
Less than 150 lbs. 20 Points
150 to 174 lbs. 22 Points
175 to 199 lbs. 24 Points
200 to 224 lbs. 26 Points
225 to 249 lbs. 28 Points
250 to 274 lbs. 30 Points
275 to 299 lbs. 31 Points
300 to 324 lbs. 32 Points
325 to 349 lbs. 33 Points
Over 350 lbs. 35 Points
So, start with your target points, then add 35 flex points for the week, that's it! No need to feel guilty anymore when you feel like eating a little extra! Just deduct it from your 35 pt total.
