Working out to music info
If you're working out, no matter what your choices: walking, bike riding, dancing, Pilates, weight lifting, or my favorite at the moment The Tony Little Gazelle, music can make your workout more fun and make the time pass more quickly.
I have some favorite songs I like to work out to and I'll post them here. I like songs with a brisk beat since the Gazelle needs to be done at a faster rate than walking. I choose Rock n Roll for warm ups and cool downs and Disco type songs, or Salsa for the faster pace in the middle of my workout. I also try to pick songs that are more positive in their message or at least neutral. I don't like a lot of negativity when I'm working out (that's why you won't see too many Country songs on my Playlist! )
I hope you'll give me some new song ideas to download so I can burn a new CD or upload them to my MP3 player (that I'm getting for Christmas!) And I hope I can give you a few song ideas too.

Sounds like you are having fun!
Let's get loud was sung at the Mary Kay meetings. I USED to like it but now it reminds me of those blood sucking Mary Kay Directors.

Oh that's too bad, it's such a good song for focusing on your goals. I'm sure that's why they used it at the meetings.

Re: Working out to music info
Okay I got really sick of hearing the same music so I went to Limewire.com and downloaded some music. This is what I got:
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cindy Lauper
Heaven is a Place on Earth - Cindy Lauper
Super Freak - Rick James
Dancing With Myself - Billy Idol
Because the Night - Bruce Springsteen
I'm On Fire - Bruce Springsteen
Glory Days - Bruce Springsteen
Maneater - Hall & Oates
Flashdance - Irene Cara
Little Red Corvette - Prince
Addicted to Love - Robert Palmer
Simply Irresistible - Robert Palmer
Start Me Up - Rolling Stones
Jumping Jack Flash - Rolling Stones
Call Me - Blondie
Bette Davis Eyes - Blondie
Bang a Gong - T-Rex
Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley
Let's Get Physical - Olivia Newton John
Me and Bobby Magee - Janis Joplin (just cause I like it!)
Sweet Dreams Are Made of This - Eurythmics
That's it for now, it took me so long to find songs! You can do a search for songs in their library to download but you have to know the names of them or the artist first and my mind was just going blank!

Crap, I worked out to 9 of those songs this morning and most of them are too slow. It's funny that when I was listening to them and burning them that they sounded like they'd work great but on the Gazelle, nope. Maybe they would work best as a walking CD.
