5 Can Soup


Our leader gave us this recipe, it's been around a while but I never had the recipe. I made it and it's very good!

5 Can Soup

1 can Progresso Minestrone
1 can corn (including liquid)
1 can diced tomatoes (including juice)
1 can mixed vegetables (including juice)
1 can beans of choice like lima, cannelini, kidney, etc. (drain and rinse beans before adding)

Bring it to a boil then turn it off. Done.

I added 1 can of beef broth to mine.

This was tasty! And it's very filling.

1 cup = 2 points

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, this can be Core if you have it for one of your starches and only have 1 cup. After the first cup you would need to count it. Sorry for the mix up.

I just 'borrowed' this recipe! Not really following any diet, but we live FULL TIME in our RV and do you know how easy it is go store 'canned goods' as opposed to fresh????
And after traveling 8 hours some days......this would be so simple! emoticon
