Messengers
On a bright summers day a messenger fords the river at Watsworthy and heads for the inn. He has a number of messages for various places but a small selection of letters are handed to the bartender, for the attention of the Van Kriegitz Society.

There are three copies of the first letter, one for the Van Kriegitz Society, one for Lazlo and one for Creed.

The Shaman that was met in Osterune did return to the fenslands as i commanded. He has faced my wrath, and justice for what he did as i said he would.
The man i came west looking for, but we never found, was one Ellingr Axbyte, yes of the same clan as one Snorri Axbyte. The same Jarl Snorri Axbyte that took gold for men from both sides in Algundy’s civil war yet supplied troops to neither.
Ellingr was responsible for the area of woodland that was drained of life lower down the hill. What was summoned there by Ellingr makes what you fought on the Saturday seem weak and pitiful. Anything you found when you went there on the Sunday is but a few leftovers for the majority of the lost summon there had left the area before myself, my people and the churchmen went to investigate Saturday evening.
Ravenwing, of whom you may have heard tales was also Axbyte.
I would hope that the actions of these fallen fools speaks far louder about their true nature than their claims, and tells you what you need to know of those willing to turn their backs on that which all should hold most dear, wherever they may come from.

The man that was never found was one Ellingr Axbyte, yes of the same clan as one Jarl Snorri Axbyte and one Ravenwing of whom you may have heard. It was Ellingr who drained the land, observe and learn.
