Somewhere in Nordgard

The Nordgard summer is as damp and windy as ever, as Audhild ponders the beauty of the cliffs and the ocean she remembers that the rain is the reason for Nordgard's 'green and pleasant land'; for all she would welcome some sunny days, the rain and the wind are also welcome.

She briefly wonders is there is any news from Redcliffe, but is peeved with herself for thinking about it. She shakes her head and inhales deeply, not quite a sigh but definitely a measured breath. Even she cannot quite find a positive interpretation for that set of events and briefly wonders why she has such bad luck.

She shakes her head wryly, and tells herself she is being foolish. Everything will work out for the best one way or another. She remembers a thought she had about three months back and smiles, "Aye" she mutters, "Tis true that I've bad taste."

With that she reopens her book and leans back against the oak tree that is both her back rest and her shelter from the rain.

Re: Somewhere in Nordgard

"I know you probably had it in mind to be elsewhere, but I need you this summer. With all the trouble brewing, I cannot afford to be without my skald and chronicler."

Audhild smiles
"Of course my lord. If you need my services, then I would not want to be elsewhere."

The lord sighs heavily
"We have much to do Audhild. Much to do. But I am sorry you missed that business with the dragon"

"So am I. That would have made a right pretty tale."
