Landsknechts on the Road

Maximilian Krieg was sitting outside the physicians tent holding a long bundle of cloth. He had come across this field hospital while running very fast away from Osterune. Emil had taken injuries to his legs after getting caught as the forest collapsed around them once the dragon had been slain. The hospital was being run by an order of monks who seemed to be like every other monk, except for the large hammers and maces they carried. Emil emerged from the tent on two crutches with lightly bandaged legs.
"...and remember, no fighting for at least two weeks." The monk that came out with him was saying. This monk was a huge man, with long ginger hair. Maximilian could see the chainmail under the Monk's long white robe, and he suspected that the enourmous maul leaning inside the tent was his.

Emil handed the monk a silver coin and they both headed out onto the road.
"Do you think they'll believe we were involved in this incident?" Maximilian asked
"I don't know...but I've been accused of murder, and you tried to blow up a bunch of crazy wildmen led by an immortal bastard, and hit the sane people in the process." Emil replied
"If they leave us out of the report to the Archduke, I'll be very put out."
"I'd be more worried about what to tell Grenville."
"Grenville? Grenville is easy...I have to report directly to Prince Otto..."

The two sighed in unison, and continued on to Redcliff, where a messenger was supposedly waiting for them with their next job.
