Raise money for your club/church by shopping online
I sent an email out to the team managers about a new fund raising website that allows your team/group/charity to raise money every time your supporters/members shop online, but didn't get much of a response.
"Easyfundraising is an online shopping directory listing over 400 of your favourite stores, including Amazon, NEXT, Debenhams, John Lewis, Tesco, DELL and many more. Every time one of your supporters/members shops online with any one of them, your team/group/charity will receive up to 15% of every purchase – at no extra cost to them or you!"
We've only been signed up for a week or so and we've already raised £12 for our club (enough for 1 training football) and there's only 2 of us using it. We both signed up to eBay earning the club £8.
I won't bore you with anymore details but have a look at the Nailsea Churches FC website if you want to find out more.
http://www.fcnailsea.co.uk/easyfundraising.htm
You should really get your team to sign up and even if they don't you can still use it as an individual and raise money (for nothing) for your favourite charity such as Cancer research UK.
Happy Shopping!

this is pretty cool will get a bit of cash doing that, also try www.everyclick.com
register and get all your players to use it as a search engine instead of google, which it is powered by!
Earn around £100 a year with 20 players

Re: Raise money for your club/church by shopping online
We've been signed up for 10 days now and although only two of our team have used the site we've raised just over £25 - enough for a spanking new Mitre Pro Max match ball
This site is great.

Re: Raise money for your club/church by shopping online
I just bought the new Crowded House album and raised a whopping 9p for the 'Slip.
Play.com aren't very generous, only 1% donation.

Amazon donate more than Play - 2.5% I think rather than 1%.

Blah.co are one of the more generous retailers, try them.
Everyone should open a eBay account too. Big money there.

Indeed. I think you get £4 just for opening an account don't you? Sadly, eBay is a banned site at work.
