Footy this weekend
If you've been at league meetings over the last couple of seasons you'll have heard Tim mention that a team from Bristol goes up to Manchester each year to play in an 11-a-side churches football tournament.
The team call themselves Redland Rangers and I believe that Davo1 has inspired them to victory in the past.
Well,...the chap organising the trip this year is David Long and he is short of a couple of players for this weekend!! The tournament spans all-day Saturday and Sunday.
If you're interested in joining them then there is a minibus going up Friday night and YHA accomodation is sorted. Dave's number is 07968 536061 and I'm sure he would be glad to hear from you. (If its easier, you can always turn up and play one of the days only).

hmmm i could rock up depedsing on finances and i would dominate so it wouldnt be a tournament would just be a turn up and win

have never said i don't like you, don't where that came from and this isn't the place to discuss it. however like every other nailsea player you will have to earn your place in the team this season, i do as well and i'm very tight with the manager.
we had promotion in our hands last season but let ourselves down badly, i expect better this season.

As far as I'm aware most of the team didn't make it for the same reason that it took me 6 1/2 hours to get to Cheltenham yesterday evening. Devestating for us to lose our crown but maybe it's time we let one of those little northern teams win it after three years.
